It's been eons I know.

I'm all settled in Melbourne, finally.

I have a cosy sweet room right now.

The apartment pleases me so much, I think it's the best.

Just 2 minutes away from school, which is right smack central town.

18th floor high City view.

Condominium-like, with facilities:

an indoor swimming pool;

GYM (oh thankyou!);

Sauna; Jacuzzi; Bbq pits; etc.

What more can you ask for seriously?

I'll post pictures of my room soon.

It's already so busy in school since the first week.

Projects have been assigned and expectations set high.

My first project team was decided yesterday, and I'm thankful.

The bunch were the ones I was hoping to work with. YAY.

I got to get back to work now.

But heres what I've gathered of Melbourne thus far:

Here I have with me, a spanking new iPod touch for my 22nd from Joshie :D & laying in bed tapping away... This new generation iPod touch feels so much more useful than my previous 1st gen, which I lost in Zouk! Kuduos to this new gadget I have in hand right now! I promise not to loose it ever ever man! Too precious & too significant of value! Thanks sweetie pie :D

Did I mention that I love the days where I bum at one corner of a café with a cup of coffee or hot cocoa and just people-watch!? Well, yeah, you watch the world go by basically. I believe a luxury like that comes pretty short-lived, especially once I start working. Hence, I'm enjoying it while it's still affordable to me. Cheers to youth!:)

The past 2 weeks had been an eventful one.

Two Sundays ago, there was Jia Jun's birthday celebration at P.S. Cafe, Palais. One of my favorite ambience. So English *loves*. One place I can absolutely picture myself to frequent so often with my girlfriends and josh over breakfast and tea in the long run.

Last Friday & Saturday I was asked to assist with some Art Direction for one of the most unique Photographer in Singapore, JING, of Superhyperreal.com - 'Uniquely Singaporean' isn't he?

& just this week alone, I have been asked for assistance in many ways. I am thankful for that. Its always a gratification when you are needed somewhere near your expertise. However so, the workload offered by some becomes quite a chore when $$$ isn't rewarded, and 'FAVOR' calls for instead. I am still in quite a dilemma as to putting negotiations in the best way possible. Especially when friendships are on the line. I am pretty new to this, this whole professional help here and there. I would love to gain experiences, but of course, but I guess every situation has its own calling, like weighing the priorities etc.

Through it all though, GOD has been kind. He always have, no doubt. One amazing opportunity leading to another brilliant one, how can you not feel blessed?

the gang gathered at Owen's on Friday. it was also play time for my Cannon 50D. I haven't had time to take it out for a spin since I got it. here are random shots i snapped that day.

I figured Chicken Wings should not be in B&W. looks juicier like that.

Earlier this afternoon, i caught a glimpse at the MTV Video Music Awards NYC 2009 on youtube, where they opened the show with some stunning performances of Michael Jackson's Music vids in tribute to him.

and oh, you gotta watch Janet Jackson's incredible MJ-moves. it was so moving seeing her give her all on stage for MJ. Can't miss it for the world! - this Sat 1pm on MTV.

here i am switching back to blogspot. livejournal is just so restrictive. i know it sounds crazy, but i spent the entire day doing up this template to 'perfection', my way. i haven't quite blogged in the longest time, been a really busy bee thats why.

a week back, i sent in my application to the Bachelor of Design (Communications) at RMIT Melbourne. so if all goes well, i'll spend Chinese New Year at Melbourne next year. there goes my red packets - boo! haha. also, i finally signed up for the basic theory - driving. which means i can't afford to fail any of them, if i am aiming for my driving license by next January. meantime, i'll be working on a mission - to get an internship at a magazine company.

ps; someone has got her very own "machine gun" - Cannon 50D. ooolala! ;)
